
Google appears to be logging what you search for when you are logged in your machine, and most likely you are unaware of this seeing it's using a beta functionality (Google Search History)

I used to notice that my sites were starting to appear on the front page - and figured it must be because my sites are soooo good. Alas it was just the personal search learning that I liked to go to those sites.
It was interesting to see my search history and to realise how much I (over) used google. But I turned it off of course.
Not that Google can't work out your tastes from your goole/gmail cookie anyway - just that they won't show it to u.
