luring couch potatoes to go biking

Trek and Giant and Raleigh are building some new bikes that are designed to be very simple, fun, easy to ride. They want to bring back the fun memories of riding as a kid. I love the look of Trek's Lime. It would be perfect for nipping to the shops etc.

Cheese-O-Meter

Now you can tell if someone is not smiling hard enough, as there is software to tell how well you are smiling rating from 0 to 100%...

I'm sure to put in a suggestion to add an enhancement to include an appropriate emoticon smiley... :D

Google dude likes having his photo taken

and he has gotten quite a decent list of known faces to have their photo taken with him at the googleplex. "Tan Chade-Meng, a geeky fellow with a big smile"

http://picasaweb.google.com/chademeng is his gallery

Even the NYT has an article on him

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/01/technology/01google.html?_r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

At Google, Mr. Tan has a reputation as a top-flight engineer. But he is also known for his fondness for one-liners and for being a regular contributor to the company’s online humor groups. The job title on his business card reads: “Jolly Good Fellow (which nobody can deny).”

“In my free time, I do engineering,” he said.

Mr. Tan gets tips by e-mail or phone a few days before a famous person arrives. No one has turned him down yet.

Way to go Mr. Tan.
